Your Counsellor

My name is Tryphena Gabriel, and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Educator. With over 23 years of experience, I have worked with children and adolescents facing behavioral, emotional, and intellectual challenges both in and out of school settings. Additionally, I have provided counseling to individuals, couples, and diverse communities, including minority and Indigenous populations. My focus has been on helping clients find their voice and recognize their self-worth while developing strategies to improve self-capacity and self-love, empowering them to achieve their goals.

I have received training in various areas, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, ODD, autism, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns.

As a Therapist, I use a trauma-informed, person-centered, client-focused approach and a variety of evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, Acceptance, and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused and Emotionally Focused couples Therapy, Mindfulness, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, to help you live your best life.
